Company Profile of Graffin s.r.o.

Graffin s.r.o. is involved in commercial and service activities in the field of deliveries of offset printing machines, semi-rotary offset machines, digital machines, and machines for finishing and bookbinding processing. The company’s activities began in mid-2003, when Graffin took over the exclusive representation of the Japanese brand HORIZON for the Czech market from Grafitec.

Subsequently, Graffin s.r.o. obtained exclusive representation of the Japanese brand of printing machines KOMORI for the Czech and Slovak Republics in 2005. The printing machines of Komori, the largest Japanese manufacturer, represent the real pinnacle in their field, with a rich history dating back to the 1920s. Komori’s brand position is very strong in Asia, America, and Europe, where it successfully competes with German manufacturers. In the 1990s, the machine manufacturer decided to strengthen its position in the newly emerging markets of Central and Eastern Europe and gradually developed its distribution network there, which is successfully completed today. By the end of 2022, more than 95 Komori printing machines had been installed on the Czech and Slovak markets.

The Horizon brand traditionally has a very strong position in many European countries. Horizon machines designed for finishing and bookbinding processing also have a rich history on the Czech market dating back to the early 1990s, when the machines were sold through Grafitec. Graffin has been representing the Horizon brand since 2003, i.e., since its inception. In 2016, it acquired representation of MIYAKOSHI‘s semi-rotary offset machines and has also represented the Italian brand VALIANI for die-cutting machines since 2021.

Headquaters

The company established its headquarters in Prague and later, with the help of an EU grant, it also completed the construction of a training and demonstration center in Kácov. On an area of more than 1000m², you can see in operation practically all types of finishing machines that the company represents. Currently, the company has a developed system of distribution and service, both in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

An important component of the sale of printing machines is service and technical support. The company’s service department employs qualified service mechanics, electronics technicians, printing instructors, and a worker processing spare parts deliveries.

The main goal of the demonstration and training center in Kácov is the ability to demonstrate a larger number of machines, improve the quality of demonstrations, and also provide a wider range of training for customers. This allows customers to have all the equipment demonstrated, including bookbinding processing if they are interested. The center also includes training rooms, a spare parts warehouse, and a hotel with a capacity of 50 beds, which includes a large conference hall for 70 people.
